How to pick the perfect artificial Christmas tree.
A Christmas tree is the ultimate symbol of Home, Holiday and Family Tradition. How do you choose an Artificial Christmas Tree that fits your family? Well, here are a few tips from Christmas Lights etc to help you make your decision.
•Obviously the convenience of an artificial Christmas tree is the best thing. After the first year you have bought the tree, you like the tree, you have built new family traditions around the artificial tree, then moving forward, it is the same process every year. You take the tree down, you can set new family traditions around setting up the artificial tree and going through and decorating, it is always the same process. So you achieve continuity. Next is cost, the payback for buying an artificial tree is really an investment. You could get paid back in as few as two Christmas seasons.
•It’s worth mentioning a little on safety; it is very important to understand the Christmas tree is made of steel and plastic. The steel could possibly have little barbs or sharp edges and that is why you should wear gloves. And make sure that you put the stand in properly; making sure that you put the tree up properly so it doesn't tip over.
•Determine the height and the width of the Christmas tree from the very tip top, down to the bottom to the floor including the stand. As far as measuring the width, if you pull the branch taunt and then have someone pull the branch taunt on the other side and then measure through the middle, that is how wide the tree is. That is how it measured when you see on the side of our boxes.
•Select a general area for the Christmas tree, take some masking tape and lay down some pieces of tape so that you can get a good idea of what the Christmas tree is going to look like when it is set up and how much space is it going to take up in your home. And put a piece up on the wall, so you can approximately see the height too.
•You should decide if you would prefer a traditionally manufactured artificial Christmas tree versus a more modern manufactured artificial Christmas tree. The first difference is the branch. The traditional artificial tree is better at holding heavy ornaments. The more modern tree is has much more body; it's more 3-D and creates closeness. The traditional one is more of a 2-D style and they are squish able and bendable.
We hope these points will help you with your decision!
